Joerg Streibing is the owner of Winelands Villa Guesthouse. He studied and was trained in Germany. Joerg and his family came to South Africa in 1995 and fell in love with the country.
He purchased the property in 2015 after having two established Hospitality businesses. When Joerg viewed the property the Thatched roof reminded him of the historic Straightway Head Hotel, a business he co-owned, which was unfortunately destroyed by a wild fire in 2011 along with 12 more properties.
